I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband and I live in the same house we built together forty years ago. Family visits, volunteering, and writing keeps me busy. I began my writing career almost thirty years ago after completing a three-year writing course. I have written short stories, children's stories, and novels. I have six Historical Fiction books: Sarah's Valley, Return to Sarah's Valley, The Widow's Walk, Old House, Bitter Honey and A Simple Man. There are three books in the Beryl Swallows Mystery series. Book One is Virtual Enemies introducing readers to Beryl Swallows, an ex-cop turned private investigator. The second, Case Closed (not), takes Beryl into her mother's past - a past best forgotten. Book Three is Dead End. Beryl’s neighbor is charged with murder. Can Beryl prove his innocence? Every lead ends up at a dead end. There are six books in my Mabel Wickles series: Deception by Design, Calamity by the Car Wash, Cold Case Conundrum, Frozen Identity, Mabel, Murder & Muffins and Memories, Murder & Mabel.
